A Springtime Celebration with Snow We are grateful for the exceptional generosity of our Faylane PTA which astounded students by donating 5 tons of snow for a Snow Day Blast just after Spring Break! On the day of the event, there were smiles on the faces of students, staff and parents alike as students zoomed down the snow ramps and gleeful laughter filled the air. Mrs. Kassawara shared that she tried to ensure each of her students had a turn on a sled but when one student admitted he was scared, she responded without hesitation, “I will ride with you!” Though at first, she couldn’t figure out how to ride the small sled together, teacher ingenuity won out and her student’s fear quickly turned to joy. The Snow Day Blast was a great way to bring staff, students and families together for a fun event to celebrate the return from Spring Break.
